Ucapan Selamat (Greetings)

Saying “khrap” or “ka” at the end, is the polite way of conversing.

  • I am fine – Sa bai di khrap / ka
  • I am sorry – Khaw thot khrap / ka
  • Yes – Chai

  • What time is it? – Kee Mong
  • Good morning – A run sa wat
  • Good afternoon – Sa wat dii tawn thiang
  • Good evening – Sa wat dii tawn yen

  • Senang bertemu denganmu – Yin dee tee dai rue juk

    (Jika ingin menggunakan bahasa yang lebih sopan, maka anda boleh menambahkan kosa kata “Krub” untuk lelaki dan “Ka” untuk wanita. Contoh: mengucapkan salam untuk lelaki dengan sopan bisa menyebutkan “Sawaddee Krub”. Sementara untuk wanita “Sawaddee Ka”).

Berbelanja (Shopping)

  • Berapa harga barang ini? – Nee tow rai
  • Berapa harga barang itu? – Nan tow rai
  • Bisa turunkan harganya? – Lod raka dai mai (lebih baik menggunakan kata “krub” or “ka”)
  • Apa ada yang lebih besar? – Mee tua yai kwa nee mai
  • Apa ada yang lebih kecil? – Mee tua lek kwa nee mai
  • Sedikit mahal ya – Pang pai noy
  • Saya sangat menyukainya – Chob maak

Ekspresi (Expression)

  • Saya suka .. – Chan chob ..
  • Saya tidak suka .. – Chan mai chob ..
  • Saya bersenang-senang – Sanook mak
  • Saya merasa panas – Chan ron
